Give It a Second Life: Your Donations Can Make a Difference for Frederick County Neighbors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Your Donations Can Make a Difference for Frederick County Neighbors

Partners In Care’s Frederick Upscale Resale Boutique Seeks Community Donations

FREDERICK, MD — That sweater sitting unworn in the closet, a piece of jewelry no longer worn, or household items collecting dust could help make a difference for an older adult in Frederick County.

Partners In Care Maryland, Inc. is asking the Frederick community to donate gently used items to its Upscale Resale Boutique at 5 Willowdale Drive, B1-4, in Willowtree Plaza.

The boutique is currently seeking donations of clean, gently used clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, housewares, small appliances, books, games, artwork, and other resale-ready items.

At Partners In Care, donations are about more than clearing out a closet.

The organization is built on the belief that Neighbors Helping Neighbors is at the heart of everything we do. Proceeds from the Upscale Resale Boutique help support Partners In Care’s mission of helping older adults remain independent, connected, and engaged in their communities.

“A donation that may no longer have a purpose in someone’s home can have a much greater purpose in our community,” said Sharon Price, Frederick Site Director for Partners In Care. “Every item donated and every purchase made in our boutique helps support the work we do for older adults.”

Community members are encouraged to look around their homes for quality items they no longer need and consider giving them a second life through the Frederick Boutique.

Donations can help turn one person’s unwanted items into meaningful support for a neighbor.

The Partners In Care Frederick Upscale Resale Boutique is located at 5 Willowdale Drive, B1-4, Frederick, MD 21702, in Willowtree Plaza.
