Ride Partners

Our volunteer-assisted transportation program offers our members a friendly ride to doctor’s appointments, grocery stores, hair cuts, community events, and more. Volunteer drivers offer arm-in-arm, door-through-door support across multiple stops and county lines. For many older adults, this mobility transportation service offers not only a reliable ride, but also meaningful connection, companionship, and dependable care along the way.

How the Ride Partners Program Works

Ride Partners operates through our service exchange model, where members earn time credits by volunteering or donating items to our upscale resale boutiques. Whether they use banked hours to request rides to non-emergency medical appointments, the grocery store, or social activities, our volunteer drivers ensure members stay mobile, safe, and engaged in their communities. Currently, our transportation services for older adults are available in Anne Arundel, Frederick, Mid Shore, and Washington County, though your Ride Partners trip can cross city and county lines.

To request a ride, you must be a member of Partners In Care Maryland, Inc. Please call at least 7 business days in advance:

Anne Arundel – 410-544-4800

Frederick – 301-682-7433

Mid Shore – 410-822-1803
