Personal Emergency Response Service (PERS) is a program that helps Older Adults remain independent in their homes by giving them a peace of mind. PERS, is a water resistant medical alert device you wear on your wrist or around your neck that is designed to reduce the concerns and risks of being alone. In the event of a scare, fall, or emergency, help is available at the touch of a button. Systems are for all members of the community. The Mobility Bus is an on-demand service and the rate is based on time and distance. Up to 20 miles, the cost is $100 per hour. You do not have to be a member of PIC in order to use the Mobility Bus. There is a one-time application fee. The application can be completed over the phone or you can complete it online via the PIC website.
