Transportation Services for Older Adults in Anne Arundel County
Our Mobility Bus offers reliable, community-focused transportation for older adults needing a scheduled ride for medical appointments, errands, and more. This fee-based, on-demand service is available 7 days a week and accommodates wheelchairs, powerchairs, and other mobility devices—providing a safe, flexible, and friendly transportation experience.
A Comfortable, Accessible Ride—When You Need It
Our Mobility Bus program is available to older adults (age 60 and older) in Anne Arundel County who need dependable, affordable transportation. It’s an ideal option for those who no longer drive, require mobility assistance, or prefer a more comfortable and supportive travel experience.
Many of our members schedule their Mobility Bus ride to get back and forth from local medical appointments, for shopping trips to the grocery store or shops within Anne Arundel County, or to enjoy social events and gatherings. Because a spouse, family member, or caregiver is welcome to join you on the trip, the Mobility Bus offers a convenient way to stay independent on your own terms.
Every person-centered ride includes support from a volunteer driver, a safe and welcoming environment, and a focus on community. It goes beyond getting from point A to B, turning every trip into a social connection experience where friendships grow.
How to Participate
Complete the registration form available at PartnersInCare.org or call PIC and ask for Transportation.
There is a one time registration fee of $25 required prior to using this service.

Learn more about our Mobility Bus:
The Mobility Bus is an on-demand service and the rate is based on time and distance. Up to 20 miles, the cost is $100 per hour. You do not have to be a member of PIC in order to use the Mobility Bus. There is a one-time application fee. The application can be completed over the phone or you can complete it online via the PIC website.
You may pay by credit card, but only online through our PayPal account. In addition, you may pay the driver by check or cash at the time of your appointment. Payments are due prior to performing the service.
If the appointment is 1-2 hours, the driver will wait in the parking lot. If the appointment is longer, then the driver will come back at the completion of the appointment. Sometimes a driver is dispatched to another trip request.
Yes. Your spouse, family member or caregiver can ride with you and there is no additional cost.
No. Service is scheduled on a first-come first served basis. PIC Mobility does not do emergency requests.
